In baby news, we had our 6-month pediatrician visit yesterday. Henry is 19.5 pounds(75th %), 28.5 inches(90th %), and his head is ginormous(97th %). The doc confirmed that H is as Casper-ish as they come, and we do indeed have a lifetime of sunburns ahead of us. He has reached all of the developmental mile-markers for his age, and the doctor was particularly impressed with his sociable and chatty nature. Over the next few weeks, I am supposed to be introducing lotsandlots of solid foods. He has been ready for them for awhile, and in the 24 hours that I've been upping them, I can already tell a difference in his personality (in a VERY good way). He is totally amped and excited ALL the time, and when it's time for sleeping, he falls quickly into the happiest deep sleep. That's a big answer to prayer, because for the last few weeks, he has been so fidgety and restless when I would try to put him down for a nap or the night.
Last thing...Henry and I bid Florida adieu tomorrow. Texas, here we come!!

Reese LOVED her jumperoo...meanwhile poor baby H was not sleeping well because he was hungry...glad he's getting big boy solid foods now....He's weighs 4 pounds less than my 15 month old...slow down Henry
I know. I feel bad about the starvation...I was just trying to follow the 6 month rule. One of the MANY things I will do differently with #2 (which is not on the way or anywhere near being a twinkle in dad's eye...rest assured).
YAY for Texas! I can't believe you will be in Kingwood!! I also can't believe Henry is almost 20 lbs. At this rate, I'll be meeting him at his High School graduation. Geez they grow fast.
Yay for making it back home! I hope that you have safe travels back here. When does Jared come here for good?? Henry is a big boy. I get to find out Brady's six month stats on Thurs.
