Nearly a week overdue, Josh and Jamie's sweet baby girl, Avery Rose, arrived on Monday, March 23rd. Remember, Jared and I met when we stood in Josh and Jamie's wedding in 2006. Since then, our lives have remained intertwined in sooo many ways. First, they stood in our wedding in '07...here they are coming back down our aisle...
Then, we lived only one exit apart from one another in Orlando...which we didn't take advantage of nearly enough! Jamie and I worked together at a law firm there until the spring of '08. We enjoyed being a part of the same 'young marrieds' life group in 2007-08. When I was expecting Henry, I used Jamie as a sounding board for all of my pregnancy thoughts, concerns, amazements, and random factoids that I'd gather from countless reliable (and not so reliable) sources. :) Jamie found out she was expecting Avery on the day Henry was born...which I always thought was super cool. During the first few months of Henry's life, she often came to visit us at our house when I couldn't seem to dress myself and the baby and make it out the door - for which I am eternally grateful to her. And, now, they are 'holding down the fort' at our Orlando home (yes, sad to say, Henry's nursery has been girl-ified) and pacing the same boards of floor to put their little angel to sleep that we were pacing only 8 months ago. So, anyway, I've been waiting on Jamie to put up a photo on her facebook...so I could nab it and share it with all of you. I think you will agree that this is one beautiful baby girl.
