Thanksgiving Pics

since it's december, i guess i owe my blog a few photos from thanksgiving day. i did not get ANY pictures of the family at my parents' house. would you believe i pretty much had my hands full of food or little boys or both the entire time? go figure. so, all i've got is a few pre-dinner shots from the park.

this is the best shot i got of the littles together. i'm not really sure what i'm doing wrong...they NEVER want to look at me and make happy faces at the same time. this one has camera aversion.
and this one usually cooperates...until his brother is next to him. then he just eats things and/or tries to get away.
despite the lack of quality photographs of the day, the entire crew (us, my parents, brother, sis-in-law, grandmother, great aunt, aunt, two uncles, and two cousins) had a delicious and thankfulness-full holiday. henry was especially thankful for the unlimited refills of sweet tea that we let him have, and james was delighted by and thankful for his first taste of tablefood - my dad's sweet potato casserole.

on thanksgiving, i was most thankful for the hours of 1 p.m.-4 p.m...wherein sweet, sweet silence blanketed the Chesshouse during a once-in-a-blue-moon concurrent nap.
