Sunday matinee
Henry and I braved the cold, the rain, and our runny noses (we're all sick here this weekend) to see for ourselves what all the hype was about. It was the first movie he's seen in the theater IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE and the first movie I've seen in the theater since two Harry Potters ago. "We saw the girl movie," he told Jared when we got home, "and it was SO COOOOOL!"
Indeed it was. It being "Tangled" - cool and the girl movie, indeed. Here he is getting his ticket ripped.
He picked the seat by the wall...first. Shortly after that, he decided he didn't want to be so "high in the sky" and that he'd rather sit "by the big giant TV." So, we moved on down, and there we stayed for the entire movie. He didn't budge once...just watched and danced and asked hilarious questions until the credits rolled. "Mommy, where's Shrek?" "Mommy, did that girl just go get a spankin' with her mommy cuz she didn't listen (in reference to a girl and her mom walking by us)?" "Once upon a time, there was a princess stuck in a tower, right Mommy?" "Is there a dragon in this movie?"
Everything at the movies is awesome - especially these mirrors in the bathroom! He raaahhhhhred at himself for many minutes before the show started...and we visited again afterwards for good measure.
I give "Tangled" and my Sunday matinee date with my little man 5 big giant stars and two thumbs up.

I took Saige to see Tangled as well and it was mommy/daughter date for us. We both loved it.
We've seen it FOUR times!! Any event that keeps us still and quiet for more than 30 minutes is worth it's price in gold! And I LOVE your apron from the post above!
