We're back...again. This past weekend, our family traveled to Orlando for Nana's 75th birthday party. We were so excited that the party fell on Easter weekend...because we also got to go to our home church, see so many of our sorely-missed friends, and dress the baby up in one of the cutest outfits he owns. :)
Our first night in town was spent with a super special family, the Newsomes. They took us in and fed us and all the girls even helped give Henry his bath and get him ready for bed. They have since been hired to perform these duties at my house in Texas full-time. What a great lookin' group!
Awwww, Henry has three new girlfriends!
After our short stay with the Newsomes, it was straight to Nana's house. Nana put us up for the remainder of our trip, and we are so grateful to her for her above-and-beyond preparations for our arrival!! Just look at this adorable pair...
Here is one more reason that I looooove Nana. She thinks of everything. She put this sign over her doorbell while Henry was taking a much-needed nap...and I didn't even ask her to. That's learned experience, folks...and it really made my day.
Here's Henry trying to creep into Nana's kitchen to help with breakfast. Silly baby...he hasn't learned yet that Nana has EVERYTHING under control.
Jerry and Betsy hosted Nana's birthday celebration at their house, and it truly was a perfect event full of lots of quality time together. Here's the birthday girl blowing out her candles with two grandchildren, Dawson and Nathan, and a great-grandchild, Anthony. Henry was snoozing, of course.
Ahhh, here he is...notice the before and after of the cake from the previous shot.
After cake, the Chesser boys got down on the floor to play.
Henry loves his big-boy cousin, Anthony, and hopes to be just like him someday.
It wasn't long before clothes started coming off...the pool was just too inviting!

If I were Jerry and Betsy, I'd probably blow this photo up as big as a wall in my house because it's just so stinkin' cute of everyone! Wish we had a lake in the background, but oh well, our pimped out rental Impala will have to do!
Family.
After Nana's party, we took Henry to Fiddler's. See how happy he is to go to daddy's favorite place...
Then, it was Easter, and we found ourselves in our usual place on the ramp at FBCO. Here's Jared with one of his U-Haul Boys, Brad. We heart Brad and wish he would move to Texas. Stat. Please take note of Henry's precious outfit given to him by his Nina (Jared's mom)...it couldn't have looked better on him, B!!
Family photo in front of FB's Disciple-Ship. That play on words is so terrible that you just have to love it.
Jared with Dad and Betsy...and Henry.
Us with Nana...
After church, we all napped and then headed to the Burgess compound for their annual Easter egg hunt. Henry's in the middle of this motley crew...a little to the left side.
Our excited boy with his first Easter basket (thanks, Nana!).
Nothing in here yet!
My boys on the Burgess' dock...beautiful.

Jared and his Amys...and a few of the boys! Love it!!
New mommies...us with Jamie and Avery (3 weeks old!).
Bye, bye Nana. Our last day in O-town.
Henry on the way to the airport....phew, it's been a long weekend in FL.
And, that's all folks.
Thankfully, the next month and a half is really slow and non-travely for us...so, if you need the Chessers, we'll be home in Texas, back on our boring, baby schedule, and looking for things to do that don't require us to actually get out of our pajamas for any length of time. ;)
