I can't think of anything to write about. I do have a few pictures to post, but as you know, I have to go get my dad's camera wire to put them up. Boo. I'm buying a new one this week...finally just gave up the search of my parents' house for my old one. I do not understand how my camera wire just evaporated into thin air, but it did.
So, in Chesser news, Henry and I were sick all last week (Jared never caught it), and this weekend, we just chilled out around the house to recuperate from all of the sleepless nights in a row. On Saturday, Jared was up early to work on a very special project he is doing for our family. He wanted me to mention it on the blog, and now I have, but I'm not going to actually tell you all what it is until it's finished. This way, we can all anticipate the grand unveiling of it together!! I'm hoping it'll be early May when I can post pictures and share the news that the project is complete. :)
Saturday afternoon, Henry and I attended the 1st birthday party of his friend, Jayce. His mom, Kristi, went all out for the thing and has seriously raised the bar as far as first birthday parties are concerned. This leads me to a topic that I cannot even believe that it's time to write about already. Henry's birthday (ohmygod, yes,he'sreallyalmostone)is right around the corner, folks. All Florida grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, let this be your 'heads-up' that our birthday party for the H-man will be on his actual birthday, July 11th, here in Kingwood. EVERYONE is invited, and we hope that we'll be seeing you for the festivities! Oh, and rest assured, by 'festivities,' I only mean a little cake, a few balloons, possibly a kiddie pool, and some very off-key singing by close family and friends. I'll send real invitations with the who-what-where-whens in June, but if you do plan to come, I would advise you start looking into your air travel now. As we all know from our 2007 experience, flight prices will blow up as the summer approaches, and I don't want anyone who wants to come breakin' the bank (or not being able to come at all...:( sad) because Southwest or Delta threw us a curve ball.
Jared leaves town this afternoon for Minneapolis and then DC for work...and we're on our own until late Wednesday night. Sorry, Sara, no pics yet....check back tonight or tomorrow...
