Since I am such an avid blog-stalker, I truly cannot believe I missed it! So sorry, Caro...please do not consider this ANY indication of how little I check your blog. To the contrary, I get my Lorelai fix pretty much daily!!To those who don't know Caroline, you can find her over at http://www.blogballentine.blogspot.com/. She is an amazing mother who balances law practice and family life beautifully! I've always admired her easy-going nature, fabulous fashion sense, shameless outfit-matching with her 2-year old, and her willingness to share just how completely IN LOVE with her husband she is. Oh, and did I mention that her married name is Caroline Ballentine -- which, seriously, could that be any cuter?!? So, anyway, thank you Caro for thinking to give this coveted award to yours truly. Now, for the fun part of receiving this...

7 interesting things about me:
~I can touch my feet (both of them - one at a time or together) to my face and pretend like they're telephones. In fact, my whole family can do this except for my dad. We even took a picture of it and turned it into a mousepad one year.
~I have no self-control when it comes to buying baby girl clothing for my friends' baby showers. None. Whatsoever.
~I am sensitive to a fault. I can't tell you how many thousands of times I've been told that I need to 'grow a thicker skin,' because things really (like, REALLY) hurt my feelings. Very rarely do I get mad or bitter...just really sad and hurt. Perhaps this is why law practice and I didn't hit it off.
~I am allergic to almost all fake smells - perfume, plug-ins, air fresheners, candles (even unlit!), lotions, hand sanitizers, etc. etc. etc. I hate admitting this to other people though, because it always makes both of us feel bad. :(
~I have a mental block when it comes to memorizing scripture or excerpts from literature, but I love studying the bible and reading gifted writers more than I can say.
~When I think about the things my husband says and does for me, I'm pretty sure I live in a fairytale that just hasn't been written yet.
~Sometimes, instead of thinking about how excited I am to be having another baby boy in March, I find myself thinking (and sometimes saying to Jared), "Wow, there sure will be a lot of penises in this house soon," which then sends me straight out the door to find something girly to do.
