Boo!!

It's October! This is one of my very favorite months for soooo many reasons. The weather is usually perfect (or getting there). Fall colored mums look spectacular next to leafy fall garland (well, unless your one-year old decides he has an appetite for destructing said mums).College football is in full swing. Laura's birthday is this month....not to mention, Jared, Heather, Jerry, Jamie, Justin W., Reese (today!!), and many more. But, Laura's birthday - that one turned into a favorite a few years ago. It's the 5th...and it just marks, not only the birth of one fabulous girlfriend, but also the beginning of a many-months-long season of celebration. (Happy early birthday, girl!!) Here we are about to gradumalate from law school in '06...still so glad that Caitlyn H. missed the ceremony and we got to sit together!!Aside from the October birthdays, a holiday very close to my heart closes out this glorious month. We celebrate it well at the Casa de Chesser. I've had my decorations up for over a week. Henry's costume has been ordered. I cannot wait to find the best local pumpkin patch to snap some '09 photos of this sleepy 3-month old...now that he's 15-months old and all. AND, this year's added bonus, I'm actually taking my sweet boy trick-or-treating to our neighbors' houses. This is definitely something that I've looked forward to doing with my kids since I knew I wanted to be a mother -- like, in 1985. Speaking of mothers, here's mine being silly with Henry last year... So, here we go...let the fun fall festivities begin!!

Happy Birthday(s), Hotty Toddy, Go 'Noles, Geaux Tigers, and Boooooo!!!

Ohhhhh, how I love this month, too!! And, you forgot to add pumpkin cheesecake from the cheesecake factory to your list! And, Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays (don't tell my in-laws, hehe)

Oh girl, how I do love that cheesecake. Sadly, the CF in Houston is a looooong 45 minutes away. We were so spoiled in Winter Park!!
