a description for the unique human condition of defensiveness coupled with sensitivity....sometimes (no admissions here) brought about in women by one's elevated hormone levels, as is common in pregnancy or during certain times of the month...severity of said condition known to be substantially aggravated by the following: hunger, standing for too long, being too hot especially while trying to sleep, general insomnia, cleaning for hours only to watch your efforts be destroyed in a matter of seconds, untimely sexual advances, and being asked or told anything more than once or in a tone that implies mockery of, judgment of, or even slight disagreement with one in the grips of the condition.
WARNING: Men are advised not to utter this word in the presence of their significant other...especially if she could, in any way, fall into one of the aforementioned categories of women potentially described thereby.
